BLACK FOOTWEAR FORUM | 2019 | Portland, OR
PROJECT MANAGER + PRODUCER
The Black Footwear Forum (previously known as the African American Footwear Forum) exists to celebrate and safeguard the influence, leadership, and creativity provided by blacks in the global footwear industry. In 2019 I provided end-to-end planning and production services for their conference held at the Portland Art Museum featuring 25 industry-leading speakers including legends Scoop Jackson, former NBA star Baron Davis, and Bobbito Garcia, 2 documentary film crews, 2 DJs, a live rap performance, live taping of Claima and Obsessive Sneaker Disorder podcasts, a VIP dinner and after party, all the top sportswear brands together under one roof. In addition to the public conference, I also produced a VIP dinner and after-party for key industry influencers.
